Check-In for the Main Lodge is at 3:00. For Cabins and Guest Homes, it is 4:00. Check-Out for all lodging is at 11:00 AM.

While we cannot guarantee an early check-in, or late check-out, you are welcome to make a request.
Due to our intimate size and remote location, cancellations impact us significantly. A 30-day cancellation policy applies. If you cancel your reservation within 30 days, your deposit will be forfeited. Cancellations outside of 30 days are subject to a 10% cancellation fee based on the total stay amount. If you depart earlier than your confirmed departure date, you remain responsible for the full booking.
We do have overnight staff as well as staff on call.
We ask that you are over the age of 21 for check-in.
We offer on-property shuttles after noon most days. There is no airport transportation or airport shuttle.
There are some car services around the area. However, we recommend a rental car for travel if you are planning on leaving the property for longer amounts of time.
We do not - but all parking for the main lodge is within a short walk.

Parking is offered in front of the Main Lodge. Cabins and Guest Homes also have parking available at their locations.

We offer classic lodge rooms, luxury lodge rooms, and suites in the main lodge. We also have Cabins and Guest Homes throughout the property.
We have a select number of rooms that are accessibility-friendly.
Our cabins, as well as a select number of guest homes, are friendly.
There is complimentary wi-fi in the rooms and public areas. Guest homes and cabins have private wi-fi that can be joined on their premises.
Rooms have mini fridges. Coffee makers and microwaves are available upon request. All guest homes, as well as cabins, have all of the above.
Daily turnover service is available upon request.
We do not provide cribs or rollaways.
No, however, all our menus are available for pick-up orders. We also have to-go breakfast and lunch menus.
Yes, the restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.
Our dining room and tavern on the ground floor of our main lodge have seasonal menus that change frequently, as well as specials curated by our chefs. Sourcing local ingredients, it is the perfect spot for whatever you may be craving.
Breakfast is not included. It is available at $20 adults / $17 for children.
Currently, we have a heated outdoor pool available for use in the warmer months.
We offer massages and facials with add-ons, such as hot stone and aromatherapy. We also have a sauna and a hot tub.
There is a fitness center located on the lower level of the barn.
Our activity center has seasonal activities year-round for all ages. Our heated pool is open in the warmer months, and our hot tub is open year-round. Yes! We have seasonal activities year-round. In the summer, we offer horseback riding, clay bird shooting, pontoon boat rides, and tiki boat rides. We also have disc golf, paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, and hiking trails. In the winter, we offer horse-drawn sleigh rides, ice skating, cross-country skiing (and trails), and snowshoeing.
Yes - Our Event Barn is located just steps away from the Main Lodge, available for small gatherings in the loft, or larger groups up to 250 on the main level. Recently, our South Lobby was upgraded and is now available as a smaller meeting space for around 50 people.
We have a workspace located in the South Lobby for guest use.

Dogs are allowed in Cabins and select Guest Homes, on the Terrace outside the Dining Room, as well as hiking trails.
Cabins and select Guest Homes are dog-friendly and are welcome at an additional charge of $50 per dog, per night. They must be registered at the time of booking. Guests bringing a pet into a non-pet-friendly accommodation will be charged a minimum fee of $250 per night, per pet and may be relocated into a pet-friendly accommodation if space is available. Refunds will not be provided for shortened stays or if the alternative accommodation does not match the original booking. Dogs are not allowed in the Main Lodge, Dining Area, or inside the Event Barn.
Mountain Top Resort is a 100% smoke-free property, including all guest rooms, cabins, homes, and activity areas. This includes smoking of any kind. A cleaning fee starting at $250 will be charged for any violation of this policy and each occurrence.
Rates are subject to change and are priced per room, per night. For triple or quad occupancy in Main Lodge Rooms, an additional fee of $45 per person applies for guests over the age of 12. A 15% resort fee and 9% Vermont State Tax will be added to your bill at the time of arrival. The Resort Fee covers access to our stay-inclusive amenities throughout your visit.
