Our Children's Summer Program is
very popular with our young guests. It is a fun learning
experience and a memorable part of their summer vacation. Each year we create a program to meet the needs of our families. The program is offered
June 1 - August 31 for children ages 6 - 9 and 10 - 12.
Advance reservations required. We strongly suggest booking
when making your room reservations
since space is limited. |
| Junior Mountaineers (6 - 9 years of age) will follow a schedule similar to this each day: |
9:00 - Meet at the Activity Center for introductions
9:30 - Lawn games like soccer, badminton, horse shoes & tennis
10:30 - Walk to the beach looking for wildflowers and interesting points of nature (1 mile walk)
11:00 - Water activities and fun
12:00 - Lunch
12:30 - Return to the Activity Center for arts and crafts and pony rides and lawn games
3:00 - Parents arrive to pick up children
(Minimum of 4 kids must be enrolled) |

| Mountaineers (10 - 12 years of age) will follow a schedule similar to this each day: |
9:00 - Meet at the Activity Center for introductions, and to learn some basics of horse care and riding
10:00 - Guided Trail Ride
11:00 - Hike to the beach - 1 mile hike with stops along the way to identify flowers, wildlife, and more
12:00 - Lunch at the beach or on the Pontoon boat
12:30 - Beach activities such as water safety kayaking, canoeing and water trampoline
2:00 - Walk back to the Activity Center for lawn games, soccer, badminton, horse shoes & tennis
3:00 - Parents arrive to pick up children

Pricing for the program is per child:
$125 for a full day/ $75 half day (Until noon, does not include lunch)
$300 for 3 Days
$400 for 5 Days |

| Mountaineers Overnight Adventure (10 - 12 year olds) |
6:30PM - Dinner on the Tavern Terrace (No parents allowed!!)
7:30PM - Walk to the beach, set up camp site, tents, etc.
At Dusk - Toast marshmallows, tell scary stories
8:00AM - Back to the Lodge for breakfast with their parents
(Thursday nights, weather permitting with minimum of 4 kids enrolled)
$125 per child includes dinner
